 Today's classes went over trends in exercise and personal training, it also went over the anatomy of upper body exercises. The major trends I learned today were common ones but there were some that I had never heard of before. The most popular trends in exercise are boot camps, small group training, weight loss challenges, mommy and me classes, and working with seniors and recovering cancer patients. The upper body exercise anatomy went over terms that are used when working the upper body. For example pectoral muscle, latissimus dorsi, and Bicep. It also went over different types of grips for example pronated is when the palm is facing down and supinated is when the palm is facing up. Tomorrow's classes with be focusing on lower body movements and the physiology of personal training.
